Passport Application Processing Steps

i. Complete the Form

5. Payment for Acceptance Fees

Passport applications require two fees:

(1) ACCEPTANCE FEE: Payable to the County of San Diego, separately from the passport fee, is payable by greenbacks, check, or coin gild to the County of San Diego. We do not accept credit cards. Be aware that if your bank check bounces, you may be referred to the San Diego County Commune Attorney's Office.  Passing a bad check with intent to defraud is a criminal offense.
